Another one with the shaded background and working back in with an eraser technique from my life drawing class.

Something from my life drawing class I’m sort of proud of.

Shaded in the background with willow charcoal, then worked the highlights back in with an eraser, finishing off the shadows with a charcoal pencil.

My version of a “realistic” Korra for Mae.

It isn’t finished yet, but I’m scared to colour it or anything so just wanted to post it before I do anything else and ruin it :P

So this happened.

Pretty crappy but I had a picture in my head and wanted to get it down but of course that never turns out how you want it so I just kind of went fuck it and just did it stoopidly :P

In true procrastination from study style, I “finished” it.

I’m not completely happy with it, but it was just annoying me, this thing in the back of my mind all the time, so I just wanted to get it over with. I think because I used all different references I didn’t have a light source and ugh their costumes are so hard and bleuuurrrggghhh anyway.

so this happened

So even though I still haven’t finished my Breakfast Club Avengers picture, here’s something I drew today. There’s a page on facebook that does a weekly drawing challenge and this week was Batgirl so I decided to enter something for the first time.

I wanted to draw a female super-hero so that her ass and tits weren’t hanging out, so I chose a sort of “masculine pose” if you will, and she’s just chillin’, not worrying about contorting her body to fill men’s fantasies and all that jazz.

She still has boobs, as you can see, because even though I find it ridiculous that every female comic book character has enormous breasts and they don’t seem very conducive to crime fighting to me, and I feel like there should be some variation and girls that have flat chests should be represented as well, I, myself, have big boobs, and I guess I like to think that even though they are annoying and might get in the way I could still be a super-hero if I wanted (you know what I mean), so that’s why I still gave my Bat Girl big boobs. 

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is what you call a run-on sentence. Oops.

Here’s one more WIP before I go to bed. Hopefully I’ll still be motivated enough to keep going tomorrow.

Okay I have a question. Should I do helmets/headgear or not? Like should I have the Iron Man helmet or Tony’s face? And should I have Cap’s eye piece thing or not? Loki’s helmet?

It has begun. The madness.

Still taking suggestions for who is who if anyone disagrees with this, so this can just be a practice and I might do more including the principal and janitor and switch around people if required.
