More tea, vicar?

My name is Alison, I'm 21 years old, Australian, and a little bit technologically inept. I like books, so that could be why. I know just enough to have this blog so thanks for stumbling across it.

I post pretty randomly, there's no particular rhyme or reason to it. You will see Supernatural, Harry Potter, X-Men: First Class, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Suits, Doctor Who, Sherlock, The Avengers, Avatar the last Airbender and Legend of Korra, Downton Abbey, Batman, Ghibli, Disney and various animated movies, occasional hipster lomo photos, personal posts and rants, art I like, music I listen to, some movie reviews, animals, feminism, lgbt support, and very occasionally a drawing by me, just to name a few things.

fuck.

(spoilers ahead I guess)

so.

I’m actually… nervous… about how much pain I’m going to be in in 2 years time when part 3 of The Hobbit comes out.

because like.

I must have just completely blocked out the part (twice, mind you) where Fili and Kili die in the book. My copy is in my car and I’m too lazy to go and get it to check where it exactly says it but I read it once when I was about 12 and again just a few weeks ago and just. never. realised.

Also, while I didn’t particularly like Thorin anymore than most of the other dwarves in the book, and I didn’t particularly enjoy the movie itself (and liked him less in the movie) I am still really enjoying the fandom and loving movie Fili and Kili… and I still have big hopes for part 2 and 3 to blow me away and I will probably grow to like Thorin a lot more now that he’s hugged out his pig headedness and chances are I’ll be way more emotional…

which means pain. and lots of it. I’m le scared :(
