Because I was in hospital I am so behind on catching up on my dash and there’s no way I can see every post since the day before yesterday and it is stressing me out. Hah. I will just leave it now and start fresh tomorrow.

Does... does no one else see the massive symbolism of the new SPN cover? The snake is a symbol of Lucifer as appeared in the Garden of Eden. That's why it's on Sam... ._.U

Of course, I see it. But I feel as if they’re a season too late to pull the whole “lucifer” vs “michael” shit. Wasn’t that the basis of season four/five?
This season really had nothing to do with Lucifer. Sure, we thought Sam was evil for like- what- 8 episodes? Then we found out he was soulless, and people began trusting him again, and then three episodes later- there was a fix and he was Sam again.
I feel like the symbolism is just… way out of place.
If they wanted to put real good symbolism in there, they should have just made Jensen pose half clothed and Jared pose naked. Because then we would have read it as “Oh, look at the layers Dean has packed onto his character this season. He’s gonna have a lot of shit to deal with. And Sam- we’re going to get to see Sam stripped to the bone, huh?”
But no,
Instead-
A snake.
Um… yeah so the snake might be Lucifer but everyone associates the snake with the story of Eve so I assumed it was just symbolising Eve which is what most of season 6 is about… no?
