Anyone got any ideas for a costume or semi-costume or illusion of a costume for someone who doesn’t have anything apart from normal clothes and normal make-up? Like what can I do without actually hiring a costume or making something?
It’s really cool how a body can negotiate with its environment in order to evolve. An ape can say, “Hey, I’d like to walk around and see more stuff,” and he ends up with longer legs and an upright frame.
The turnaround kind of sucks because you do have to wait millions of years. But still. It’s amazing how it all slides and shifts together, like creatures at Thrift Shop Planet Earth negotiating for bits. A fish wants to live in the dark, so it gets headlights. Tigers want to live in the woods, so they get stripes.
I can’t believe there are people who don’t believe in evolution. Talk about impatient, greedy babies, yeah? Of course there is evolution, but you have to ask nicely, and it takes a long time to get an answer, and you might only end up with new thumbs.
